COURSES AT CAPITOL HILL
JUDGE Course Tour
The Judge was renovated in 2026 and opened to rave reviews. The extensive renovation featured building eight new forward tees and seven new green complexes. All the greens were regrassed with TifEagle Ulatradwarf. The course also received extensive tree work enhancing the stunning vistas along the backwaters of the Alabama River. The iconic first hole begins with a tee shot 200 feet above the fairway overlooking the river and the Montgomery skyline. The fairway was widened and made more receptive while the green was moved slightly left to make room for the new waterfall bunker between the green and the river wall. With an island green on Hole #6 and 14 holes adjoining the waters of the Alabama River, the Judge is simply magnificent!
LEGISLATOR Course Tour
The Legislator was renovated in 2025 with brand new TifEagle UltraDwarf Bermuda greens, nine new forward tees, and upgraded bunkers. Golfers will find that the changes offer improved playability while maintaining the course's original character and beauty. Enjoy the view riding down the "Sky Bridge" to the back nine laid out in a native cypress swamp, before leading back up a bluff to finish the course at the clubhouse.
SENATOR Course Tour
The Senator, a Scottish-Links style course, holds more than 140 pot-hole bunkers and mounds 20 to 40 feet in height, hiding the cart path or any other hole from view. New TifEagle Ultradwarf greens were installed on the Senator in 2020. Through the years, the Senator has been a stage for professional golf and hosted tournaments on the LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and Epson Tour.
